Discover your sign. If you have forgotten your sign, add the numbers of your birthday and birth month, and keep adding the numbers until you get a number between one and nine. For example: January 10th 1+10=2 (Wreath) Listen to what your sign's message. Bad advice can be left in this book. Return when the signs call you.
I Firebringer. First of the signs, they start the story. they bring the fire and with that creativity and joy. Don't burn others around you.
II Wreath. The wreath makes their wearer beautiful and shares their wisdom. Do you need a head to be yourself? Don't let your leaves wither.
III Shapeshifter. Your outfits enchant and you can act all the roles. Who are you under your mask? Community is not an audience.
IV Plate. You are a vessel for knowledge and skill. Always empty and always full. Close your eyes and receive.
V Black Cat. Your instinct and cleverness will take you from the roots to the top of the tree. No one will catch you unless you want them to. An embrace can be a nest, not a prison.
VI The mushroom ruler. The ruler brings peace and togetherness. Your fool knows you better than yourself. Come down from your throne to the forest.
VII Seafarer. Your vessel in the storm is surprisingly stable. Through the glass you see everything. Let others inside your bottle.
VIII Silver Rabbit. You jump fast to help your pack, you're an important part of the family. You're the fastest, but can't win every battle.
IX Egg. Egg is the beginning and the end. Inside you is the whole world. It's time to hatch.
The story of the egg was told long time ago. The firebringer woke and carried her flame to the world. She had to take the flame to every corner of the world and find the egg that was to be hatched. On her journey she met many others and received many gifts. Finally she only found an empty nest. She was tired and laid down on it. She thought all she had learned on her journey until she fell asleep. She slept so long she turned into an egg. Her bones became its shell, her flesh its white, and her flame was its yolk. When she hatches our story begins again.
The four elements are Root, Song, Gold, and Dream. They are assigned according to the time of the year you were born in. Spring is root, summer is song, gold is autumn, and winter is dream. Root: When you are balanced, your feet are firmly on the ground. When you feel unstable, go back to the dirt. Song: Your melody brings alive. Your community's songs ring in harmony with your own. Gold: Your talented hands get better with practice. Heartbeat gives rhythm. Your body houses wisdom. Dream: Watch your dreams and fantasies, they hold all the knowledge and advice you might need.
